Synthesis of RuP
Invastigating phase transitions in quantum materials is necessary to understand the nature of exotic states of quantum matter. One example is superconductivity which can also be induced by pressure or doping electrons nto the material. One example is RuP, where the Phosphorus can be replaced partly with Rhenium as described in https://dx.doi.org/10.1103/PhysRevB.85.140509.
The goal of this project was to synthesise RuP and have a look at the phase transitions.
